LATEST NEWS UPDATE: J Ladd Eelctrics Ltd has become a member of the Trading Standards " Buy With Confidence" Scheme. This is evidence of the companies comitment to continue to provide a high standard of service to our customers.

The electrical regulations have been updated from the 16th to the 17th edition. We have already gained the necessary qualification in the new regulations and are fully conversant with the changes. The 17th edition comes into full effect from the 1st July 2008 when all new installation work must be carried out to the latest standard. Work carried out upto the 1st July can either be to the 16th or 17th edition.

The 17th edition will require the greater use of RCD's (residual current devices) to protect circuits within the home. It is still early days in the implimentation but new products are filtering through from the manufactures to accommodate the changes.
